Amazfit Stratos 3 Gets 4.2.6.0 Version, Fixed Sync Issue
After two weeks of waiting, finally, the Huami team has fixed the synchronizing issue of Amazfit Stratos 3. The Stratos 3 users were unable to sync their data with Amazfit App after the rollout of the last Amazfit app update. Now, the latest version, 4.2.6.0 has fixed error, and users can send their data to the app. The update for Stratos 3 is rolling in many countries that come with some other fixes too. The only added feature for the watch is – Watch face store. The new Watch face store has added to select the various watch faces in one place and manage the downloaded ones.
GPS issue has been following many Amazfit smartwatches for a long time. The Amazfit GTS, GTR, Verge & Bip users have already complained about the weak GPS performance. Huami has tried to enhance the performance of the GPS in this version. As per the changelog, it improved the approach to calculating the distance when the GPS signal has restored in outdoor cycle mode. The other is, it fixed an issue that auto-pause is triggered when the GPS signal is lost.
The fixes also come to in the Ski mode, all the data items will now display, and the auto lap distance will now record. In the last version, Huami added over 60+ sports mode to the smartwatch now the new one brings many fixes. The update for Amazfit Stratos 3 is now rolling out in all major countries. To get the latest version, download the Amazfit app version to the newest one. Once you update to the new app version, the watch will get the 4.2.6.0 firmware update. I have same problem. I lost my ride data (60 km) I think this is due to a long pause in the automatic pause and start process or the extension of the data recording time.
Rom 4.2.6.0 for stratos 3 has a bug that affects the sports mode. The activities stops without saving the data and it shows senseless data. This is a sports watch and it is a huge bug! This watch is not to be trusted! Amazfit is not a trusted brand!
Exact same issue for me. It simply doesn’t work in any outdoor sport mode. It takes for ever get the GPS fix.

What would you recommend if I’ve recently bought the watch with that software and no update is available?
Do it directly from your watch connecting to a wireless network
The errors have been. But now, I have booted in Ultra Mode and then back in Smart Mode. Now, it works. For whatever reason!
I just tried that and it seems to still not work, I ha e contacted Amazfit but they don’t want to know and are not providing any help.

i had exactly samme errors. Revert back to 4.2.5.0 everything is OK with thi FW
The update to 4.2.6 contains huge errors. All the tested outdoor activities don’t work with it. I have examined Run, Go, Hike, Biking.
After a short time it crashes. It shows senseless numbers (for instance a million of hours), then the data is lost. Newly starting it, this process repeats.
It’s not recommende to install this update!
Yes it is the same for my watch too, I am unable to track running activity(havent tried anyother). The activity starts and then shows some garbage number while tracking and then does not save the activity.

Has the update been fixed to sync activities to the app as I’m still having these issues?
unpair and factory defaults nad pair again fixed me the sync issues.
