Right after we leaked the official promo video of Fitbit Versa 2, the company has now officially announced it. Fitbit Versa 2 is a successor model of the Versa smartwatch lineup. It brings many upgrades to the original version and offers several incredible features like the support for Alexa, standalone Spotify app and new sleep tracking functionality. All these features are aimed at raising customer satisfaction and make it a desirable product. Enhanced support for fitness tracking and inbuilt voice assistant service enable you to take control of every activity, right from your wrist.
On the design aspect, the Versa 2 witness some changes compared to the Versa, it sports the bigger and crisper always-on AMOLED display with rounded edges. The latest model features only a one side button and the inbuilt microphone substitutes the two buttons on the Versa. The redesigned version brings robust technology at your wrist with a comfortable design.
Versa 2 empowers you to observe your sleep score, set sleep mode and smart wake as well as see the estimated oxygen variation graph. All these innovative features are incorporated with the aim to elevate your day.
Alexa & Spotify Integration
Integrated Amazon Alexa on the Fitbit Versa 2 lets you directly talk with it and receive a response. You can use the voice assistant to check the weather, set reminders, get questions to your answers and control connected smart home devices.
Sleep Score shows you the sleep-related data on the basis of heart rate, restlessness and current sleep stages graph in the Fitbit app. Sleep Mode automatically disables the display and silence all the notifications which ensure peace of mind.
The Smart Wake enables users to wake during their optimal time of sleep cycle on the basis of a pre-selected interval of 30 minutes. At launch, the Estimated Oxygen Graph feature is not available. Users can get a graph that estimates the variability of the oxygen level in the blood.
Moreover, in addition to all these features, Fitbit also offers improved battery life which lats for 5 days. On the price aspect, the standard edition will be available for $199.95 and the special edition will cost $229.95. In the same budget range of the original Versa, Fitbit offers more features.
The Versa 2 will launch on September 15 in the selected market. The smartwatch will target Apple Watch Series 4 & upcoming Series 5, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active & Active 2, Amazfit’s GTS & Sports Watch 3 and Fossil’s Fenix & Forerunner series watches.
