In the last Mi Band 4 update, Xiaomi released some notable features & improvements to the band. At the beginning of this month, the software version had dispatched in Turkey. In the firmware, the auto screen off settings was also the main change that the company brought to the Mi Band 4. Where users have control over the display timeout setting & they can choose between 5 to 10 seconds. The firmware version V220.127.116.11 has now rolled out in more countries that brings auto screen off timeout setting. The Indian users see it on their Mi Band 4 and slowly it will reach all users. In India, you will see the version 18.104.22.168 on the Mi Smart Band 4, while the global Band 4 will receive 1.0.7.04 firmware version.
As we noticed, Find Band has now more features to search your Band 4. It will alert you in more ways to find your band. Previously, it vibrates the band and activates the display to show you where you have put it. It was the only option to get notified but now you can choose from more. The added My Band Displays tab will show all of your downloaded watch faces so later you can choose or change them accordingly. You may not find it useful, but some users change lots of watch faces on their Mi Band 4 and it makes them easy to find one.
To check whether your band has received a new update, go to the Mi Fit app V4.0.11 on your paired smartphone. If your Mi Fit app is not on version 4.0.11 then first update it. In the app, open Mi Band 4 from the My devices. Here, scroll down & tap on Check for updates. The update has just released so it will take a while to reach on your Mi Band 4.
