The wait is over for those Tizen users who was waiting for WhatsApp calling feature on Tizen smartphones. It is now official news came from Facebook developers that now WhatsApp on Tizen will now support calling feature. It will allow users to call from their Tizen smartphones which are their WhatsApp friends. Firstly it was only available for those users who sent request to developer’s team, but now it goes local and everyone can get benefits of it. The Samsung Z3 users are eligible to call from their smartphone.
For video calling feature users have to wait some more weeks or months, depending on Facebook. That one thing is sure near soon Tizen will get video calling feature. In Tizen only IMO app provides free video calling to customers. I guess Skype & WhatsApp video calling soon make their marks on Tizen.
User can only call to those users which are in their list, the contact have to save on your device, otherwise you won’t call to them. It is now working in India and the other country users can also check it from Tizen Store. Also note that to to get benefit of this offer you have to first update WhatsApp Messenger App from Store.
To update it go to Tizen Store and download latest WhatsApp app. If in any condition you are enable to update your existing app, then first remove it and get new version. Also take in mind that it is only support on BPD4 Tizen version and above, if you are using older firmware version then first update your device and then install this app.
To update your device go to Settings – >About Phone – > Software Update – > Update and get New version. The latest version Tizen 2.4 is now available in all countries so download it. And to update WhatsApp Messenger go to Tizen Store and update it. After your first successful calling don’t forget to tell us your calling experience.
