Ahead of the launching of the Pro model in the global market, Xiaomi has added new features to it, in the new 1.3.38 version. It has added the most essential VO2 Max score to the fitness band. It is a very helpful feature for runners, and they can use it while workout. Further, you can set always on display to more watch faces. Yes, also to some third-party dials. Xiaomi has also added sleep-breathing quality, weather alert, and interval training to the band. Finally, it has optimized NFC and supports hidden apps.

Update (Sept 21): Mi Band 7 Gets Battery Manager Function

In the latest 1.27.0.4 firmware version, Xiaomi has added a new battery manager function to the Mi Band 7 tracker. It will tell more about the battery life and how to manage the battery power. Further, users can now activate Night Mode from the smart band. Previously, users had to set it from Zepp Life or the Mi Fit app, and now they can do it from the band itself. Finally, Xiaomi has fixed know bugs to improve quality in September file. Open the Zepp Life app to install a new software.

Update (Aug 11): Band 7 Updated to 1.20.3.1 Software Update

The new Xiaomi Mi Band 7 fitness tracker is now getting the newest 1.20.3.1 firmware version. It is available for global variant, and available in most of the major countries. As per the changelog, the company has fixed some known bugs on the smart band. The newly added file will stabilize the system and improve its performance. Update (July 18): Mi Band 7 Pro Receives 1.2.38 Firmware

Xiaomi has released another software update for its latest Mi Band 7 Pro tracker. The new firmware version 1.2.38 comes with improvements for the Xiao Ai voice assistant. In China, the company uses home-nurtured personal assistants, and now the company has stabilized it. The changelog further mentions that it has fixed some known bugs. It is the second update for the Pro model in a month. The regular Band 7 is still in the waiting line to get its first update.

Original (July 05): In the latest firmware version 1.2.22, Xiaomi has added support for WeChat Payment. The users in China can now pay with their WeChat accounts. To use the contactless payment, users first have to add their account with Mi Smart Band 7 Pro in China.

Furthermore, it has added auto workout detection to the skipping rope, elliptical machine, and rowing machine. With these three workout modes, users can get automatic motion recognition while exercising.
