Samsung has started rolling out the January 2026 security patch update for all Galaxy F05 users in India. This latest update focuses on improving device security and overall system protection, ensuring a safer and more reliable user experience. The rollout confirms Samsung’s continued support for its entry-level smartphones by delivering timely security enhancements.
According to the update details, the Galaxy F05 is receiving One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. The firmware versions included in this release are E055FXXS6CZA1, with an installation package size of around 282.75MB. The security patch level is updated to 1 January 2026, which means the device is now protected against the latest known vulnerabilities and security threats.

Samsung notes that after installing this update, users will not be able to downgrade to an older software version due to updated security policies. As with most Samsung updates, the changes and availability may vary slightly depending on the region, model, or network operator, but the rollout is confirmed for Indian units.
Galaxy F05 users are advised to download and install the update as soon as it becomes available on their device. Keeping the phone updated helps maintain system stability, improves protection against malware, and ensures better long-term performance. Users can check for the update by navigating to Settings, then Software update, and tapping on Download and install.
