Adding fuel to the excitement, well-known insider Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared the first official promotional image of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, giving us a closer look at the device in its signature UltraViolet, also referred to as Cobalt Violet.
The leaked promo image aligns closely with earlier CAD-based renders, confirming that Samsung is moving forward with a redesigned rear camera layout. The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a prominent camera bump, where three large camera rings are now unified within a raised island. While the sensor alignment itself remains unchanged, the surrounding structure gives the back panel a more cohesive and premium appearance.
One of the standout elements of this design is the camera bump’s dual-layer construction. The added thickness appears intentional, helping the phone rest more evenly while also improving durability for daily use. Despite the bold camera housing, the transition between layers looks smooth, suggesting Samsung has focused heavily on balancing aesthetics with practicality.
The leaked image also reveals subtle changes to the phone’s overall shape. The corners of the Galaxy S26 Ultra appear slightly more rounded compared to the S25 Ultra, which could translate to improved in-hand comfort. Button placement remains familiar, with the volume rocker and side key positioned similarly to previous Galaxy Ultra models.
Another notable detail is the visible S Pen alongside the device. Its presence confirms that Samsung is continuing stylus support in 2026, though long-term plans beyond that remain uncertain. Interestingly, the S Pen compartment placement has already sparked discussion among fans.
