Samsung has officially confirmed that it will launch a new entry-level smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G, on February 9. The device is positioned as an affordable 5G offering and is expected to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A07 5G, which debuted in select global markets last month. With a focus on battery life, display smoothness, and modern design, the Galaxy F70e 5G is aimed squarely at young users entering the smartphone ecosystem.
The Galaxy F70e 5G features a large 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is uncommon in the entry-level segment. This high refresh rate should result in smoother scrolling and a more responsive experience while gaming or browsing social media. On the front, the phone houses an 8MP selfie camera, while the rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a depth sensor for portrait shots. Samsung claims the camera system is capable of delivering vibrant photos and sharp videos for everyday use.
Although Samsung has not officially confirmed the chipset, leaks indicate the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It is expected to ship with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for expansion. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is also expected.

The device will likely run Android 16 with One UI 8.0 out of the box and is rumored to receive up to six major Android OS updates. Powering the phone is a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, which Samsung claims can deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge.
Targeted at Gen Z users who create and share content daily, the Galaxy F70e 5G will be available in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue. It measures 8.2mm in thickness and features a faux leather back panel for improved grip and comfort. Pricing is expected to fall between INR 10,000 and INR 15,000, with more details to be revealed closer to launch.
