Galaxy A07 Goes Official in India: Know Price, Specs, & Software Update

In the entry-level segment, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A07 phone in India, expanding its entry-level 5G smartphone portfolio. The device was first introduced in Thailand & the Philippines earlier this week, and it now arrives in the country, targeting budget-friendly users who want evey features in their hands. It will be offered in two variants -a base model with 4GB RAM & 128GB internal storage is priced at INR 15,999, while the higher-end variant with 6GB RAM & 128GB storage costs INR 17,999.

Customers can choose from three color options: Black, Light Green, and Light Violet. The company has also improved durability this time on the back panel, along with an IP54 rating that offers protection against dust & water.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of up to 800 nits, the screen should remain usable even under bright outdoor conditions. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Storage is generous at 128GB and can be expanded further up to 2TB via a microSD card.

Galaxy A07 Phone Launched

On the software side, the Galaxy A07 5G runs Android 16 with One UI 8.0. Samsung promises six major Android OS updates and up to six years of security patches, which is notable for a phone in this price segment. For cameras, the phone comes with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front camera.
