It looks like Samsung’s recent software updates for Galaxy watches have gone wrong. Now, every day, more users are complaining about the issue and demanding a quick fix. Later, more users complained about battery-related issues on the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Now, even more users say they have vibration-related problems on the Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch series.

On social media channels, users have raised the issue, and the company has finally acknowledged a vibration-related issue affecting the Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 5 series. According to information shared by a Samsung moderator, some users have experienced vibrations not working correctly after updating their smartwatch to the latest One UI 8 Watch software. It is the same software that caused many other issues on the Galaxy Watch 7 & Watch 8.

Galaxy Watch 4 Vibration Issue

The company explained that the problem appears to be related to cases where vibration settings are not applied properly after the update. As a result, users may notice missed or weaker vibration alerts for notifications, calls, or system events, which can impact daily use, especially for those who rely on haptic feedback.

It has confirmed that it is actively working on a new software update to address this issue. The upcoming update is expected to improve how vibration settings are applied and restore normal vibration behavior on affected devices. It is not clear when Samsung will delivernext software for these watches. To check for new firmware, go to the Galaxy Wearable app and visit the Software Update page.
