Xiaomi-backed Huami has launched new Amazfit Ares smartwatch with octagonal dial design. It is the first smartwatch with octagonal dial screen of 1.28-inch touch display. For the people fitness is their life then the company bought 70 sports modes in different categories of indoor & outdoor activities like running, swimming, hiking & climbing etc. The Amazfit Stratos 3 has such a massive fitness modes but it is too expensive for many users so they can now choose this budget digital watch. Over it, Ares has Firstbeat & PAI functions to help you to get most from everyday workout sessions.
The other main thing about the Amazfit Ares is its long-lasting battery life which last up to 14 days in normal mode. With the power saving you can extend it up to 90 days and with GPS feature it will run up to 23 hours. In the number it packed with 200mAh battery power, smaller than the Amazfit GTS. The sensors include a bio-tracking optical sensor, 3-axis acceleration sensor, buzzler, barometer, GPS and GLONASS. The Firstbeat analysis system provides professional data like VO2 Max, training load, recovery time & training effects.
The remaining 24 hours heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking & swim tracking is presented on the Amazfit Ares. You can control music, get weather information & find your smartphone with the wearable. The Amazfit Ares will go on sale in China from June 1st. It is available for CNY 499 in Black & Green color options & you can buy it from TMall. The international availability of the Amazfit Ares is unconfirmed but we think in the coming months it will launch in other regions.
