The affordable smartwatch of Huami, the Amazfit Bip, has received a V220.127.116.11 software version in its new update. The entry-level smartwatches get very few updates, and when they do, there are very few changes that come with them. Amazfit GTR, GTS & Verge lineup is always on top, and later Amazfit Stratos & T-Rex watch seeds with most of the new firmware. The Mi Band 3 & Band 4 are also always in the line to get new features. But the Amazfit Bip, Bip Lite & the new Bip S are not that lucky.
The new software update, which is now hitting in the Vietnamese market, is live to boost the performance. The users who have installed it on their wearables have notices smaller font compare to previous or regular font. The other users say once you update the device, then you can’t go back to the Vietnamese language but the English language. It might be bug issues that the Huami will solve it soon. This may not be the issue for users who uses only English language.
It is only releasing for the Amazfit Bip smartwatch and not the Bip Lite & Bip S smartwatches. To install the new firmware, you have to either upgrade the Mi Fit app to 4.0.17 version or install the latest version of the Amazfit app. It is an automatic update, so once you install it, then you can’t go back. Currently, it is rolling out in Vietnam and soon deliver in other countries.
