Amazfit GTR to make a trend to grab customers towards the Huami or Zepp. It has created many advanced functions, which was way ahead in 2019. Later, the company launched Amazfit GTR 2 with even more innovative features like SpO2, Amazon Alexa & GPS sensors. Now to make it even stronger, Zepp has launched an eSIM variant of the Amazfit GTR 2 smartwatch. It let you forget your paired smartphone at home and roam free. The eSIM support will take care of your incoming calls, and also you can make calls.
One more thing, you can also choose a new number for the watch. It means, no need to sync the same number on smartphones and smartwatches. Both SIM numbers can be different and you can receive or make calls from both devices. The surprising part is its battery power, which is lower than the regular model. It is packed with 338mAh battery power, compared to the 471mAh battery on Amazfit GTR 2. The changed battery capacity will affect daily usage. In the regular mode, it will run up to 48 hours, and in power saving mode it will run up to 14 days.
All the features are the same on both variants. It comes with a 1.39-inch display with an AMOLED screen with curved glass. It offers 90 sports modes, blood oxygen level, NFC, GPS, Amazon Alexa, music control, camera controller, 4GB storage to save music, heart rate, and sleep rate functions. In China, it got a price tag of $305, and available from the Amazfit website. It will soon launch in the global market, but the release date is unconfirmed.
