The popular smartwatch brand Amazfit has come with two new smartwatches namely GTS 2e and GTR 2e. These are the low priced version of the previously launched smartwatches the GTS 2 and GTR 2 that was launched on 22 September. The new smart wear comes with longer battery life and will cost the user 20% lower than their predecessor. They both come with different dial shapes as Amazfit GTS 2e has a rectangular dial while the other has a circular dial.
The battery life of GTS 2e is 246mAh and comes in Dark Green, Obsidian Black, and Roland Purple color options. The watch lasts up to 14 days on a single charge and 24 days with its basic mode feature. While the latter offers a battery life of 471 mAh like its predecessor GTR 2 and it lasts up to 24 days on a single charge, compared to the 14 days that the previous version had offered. It also can last for 45 days on the basic optimal mode on a charge.
It comes in three different colors which are Dolphin Grey, Ice Lake Green, and Obsidian Black, and provides a sporty look rather than the classic look. The reason behind these amazing battery life could be that these smartwatches do not have a Wi-Fi transmitter and rely on the phone’s network only hence saving on battery usage. The GTS 2e gives the users a biological data sensor, blood oxygen sensor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor to name a few with 90 sports mode options.
GTR 2e provides Bio Tracker PPG biological data sensor, 3-axis geomagnetic sensor, sleep monitor, ambient light sensor, and many more. Both watches offer NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Both are priced at CNY 799 (approx. Rs. 9,000). You can pre-order on Amazfit’s China website and their sale will soon begin mostly on December 24.
