In New Update Amazfit GTR Gets Always on Display Feature

Update: Huami has released another update for Amazfit GTR smartwatches. The new firmware version now updated the digital AoD screen & added analog option to these new watches. The software version 0.0.9.32 is rolling out in many countries that come with updated Always on Display screen. The main screen will display digital AoD & step numbers on the main screen. In the last update, both models have received an aAoD feature. You can now choose digital or analog AoD accordingly.

Huami has finally released a new update for the Amazfit GTR smartwatch to seed the ‘Always on Display’ feature. Two weeks ago, the big version 47mm Amazfit GTR received the same function, and the little version now received it. Always on Display function is quite useful for smartwatch users that they can use it in many conditions. Even Apple has to go with this feature and in fifth-generation Apple Watch Series 5 the company has introduced ‘Always on Display’ function.

Amazfit GTR Always on Display Features

Amazfit GTR update

The firmware version 0.0.9.26 is now rolling out for the Amazfit watch and now available in Vietnam as per our report. It is simple AoD so it won’t affect your battery life. It only shows time & a day on your display. Sadly at the moment, you can’t customize anything, that might come in the next update. Always on Display means pressure on battery life but this version has less to show on the main screen, I don’t think it will burn too much battery life.

The battery life was the main reason Huami hasn’t introduced the AoD feature on Amazfit GTR. The users were not happy with the functionality so finally, it comes to GTR. Huami Amazfit GTR comes with two variants – 42mm & 47mm of stainless steel, Aluminium & Titanium. The smartwatch is now available in all major countries and last week it launched in India for Rs. 10,900. To install the latest version go to Settings and download it.
