After the successful launching of Huami Amazfit GTR 47mm model in India, the company is ready to introduce smaller 42mm to the users. Company official has announced the Amazfit GTR 42.6 mm will go on sale in Flipkart’s Big Billion Day sale on September 29. The response for bigger model was amazing in Indian market and the below 10, 999 Indian rupees was the good price to get whole pack in one smartwatch. The 42.6 mm version will charge below 10,000 Indian rupees, it is cheaper than the 47.2 mm though it compromises in may features. The 12 days battery power is impressive feature on the watch, so its 12 exercise modes.
In the last firmware update, Huami has released Always-on display to it, that can be useful in many ways without draining too much battery. The function was not introduced while the launching of Amazfit GTR, later to fulfill user’s demand company finally released it on both GTR versions. There is possibility you will get this feature out of the box. If not, then you can upgrade your watch manually from Amazfit app.
On the great response for the 47mm GTR, Huami’s VP for overseas business Mark Mao says,

The Huami’s Amazfit GTR 42mm watch has 1.2 inch AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla 3 tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating to save it from any unwanted damages. For the Indian customers the edition will available in 4 new color in silicone straps. To run it to the 12 days mark, watch has packed with 195 mah battery & 5ATM water resistance technology, helps underwater. The Amazfit GTR 42.6 mm model has GPS & GLONASS, swim tracking, running, bps, HR monitoring fitness features with lots of watch faces.
