Last week, Huami has launched the Amazfit Bip U smartwatch in India with professional features at a low price. Now, to make more watches in the lineup, the company has launched the new Amazfit Pop in the home country. It shares some similarities with the Bip U and the Amazfit Band 5 tracker. It has over 60 professional sports modes in indoor and outdoor activities. The Amazfit GTR 2 & GTS 2 sports over 100 workout modes, so in the upcoming firmware updates, the watch could get another workout mode.
The Amazfit Pop features a 1.43-inch rectangular display with 320×302 pixel density and a TFT screen. It is protected with a 2.5D glass display with fingerprint coating to prevent it from unwanted damages. It also gets an NFC function, but there is less possibility for the feature to come outside China. The 225mAh battery can run up to 9 days in normal mode. In the power-saving mode, you will get more battery life and you can charge the full battery in 2 hours. You can connect the smartphone with Amazfit Pop using the Zepp app, formally known as the Amazfit app.
The other features include continuous heart rate, sleep rate with REM sleep, camera control, music control, blood oxygen monitoring, and more features. In China, the watch is available for nearly CNY 349, nearly Rs. 3,900. The official date for its international availability is not confirmed yet. In the coming months, Huami may also launch Amazfit Bip U Pro, Amazfit London, and Amazfit GTS 2 Mini smartwatches.
