Apple Watch Gets YouTube Music App

Google, the company behind YouTube music has released its native app on Apple Watch. The Apple Watches have become the first wearables to receive the YouTube Music app, even though there is no sign of the app on Wear OS. Last month Google has shut down Google Play Music from the Wear OS smartwatches to replace it with YouTube Music. In the first version, the app will let you use basic functions. It will show playlists, albums, songs, and other categories. Further, You will get offline access to use it without internet or Wi-Fit connection.

The simple app version looks like a music control of the smartphone on the smartwatch. You can control the music or podcasts by tapping on the screen. You can also use the on-screen buttons to play next or play previous songs. In the background, the app will show the name and poster of the playing track. In the library, you will see all the necessary options like last played songs, playlist, and the download option to see all the offline songs. The free version will let you listen to tracks with ads in between them.
