The report card for Q2, 2021 market share for Indian wearable market in Q2 2021 has announced. The data from IDC has shown us how Indian market is rapidly growing and the home-grown players are capturing it. In the Q2 2021 period, the companies like Boat, Noise, Titan & Fire-Boltt are winning most of the shares. Even Boat or Imagine Marketing & Noise or Nexxbase ranked on the first spot in the hearable & smartwatch segment respectively. The key players like Samsung, Apple, Fossil or Fitbit are nowhere in the list.
The report says, the earwear market in this Q2 period has grown 113% over the same period of last year. The smartwatch market has increased 469.1%, but the wrist band market has decreased 28.9% in the last quarter. In the wrist band market, Xiaomi is the supreme leader with 38.9% market shares. Thanks to their Mi Band 4 & Mi Band 5, which are ruling in the Indian market. OnePlus is on the second spot with 21.7%, and Titan is on third spot with 21.3% shares.
Now coming to the hearable or earwear segment, India’s Imagine Marketing or known as Boat is the leading ruler with 45.5% shares and no other company is far far near to it. The second & third spots have reserved by OnePlus & Samsung with 8.5% & 7.9% shares. Again in the smartwatch market, Nexxbase & Imagine Marketing have captured more than half of the users. The Noise has 28.6% shares & Boat has 26.9% shares.
Since last year, Noise & Boat has launched pretty amazing smartwatches. The Noise has Noise ColorFit Pro 2 & Pro 3, ColorFit Qube, ColorFit Pulse & ColorFit Ultra smartwatches in its range. The another company Boat has Boat Storm, Boat Flash, Boat Xplorer & Boat Xtend in its team. India is price sensitive market, and all these wearables come under price of Rs. 7,000 or nearly $100. It’s the reason, big players like Samsung, Fossil, Garmin, Fitbit & Apple can’t do anything into it.
