First Look at Galaxy S26 Pro, Bigger Screen & New Camera Layout

September 10, 2025

Samsung is getting ready to launch the Galaxy S26 Pro, which will replace the base model in the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Thanks to new CAD-based renders shared by Android Headlines and OnLeaks, we now have the first clear look at the phone’s design and features. From the front, the Galaxy S26 Pro shows a centered punch-hole selfie camera along with thin, even bezels around the display.

The frame looks mostly flat but has slightly curved edges, making it more comfortable to hold in the hand. On the back, Samsung has introduced a major change in design. The triple camera setup is now placed inside a pill-shaped island, which looks much cleaner and modern compared to the Galaxy S25, where the cameras were directly mounted on the rear panel.

The phone is expected to feature glass and aluminum materials, keeping the premium feel intact. All the buttons, including power and volume, are placed on the right side of the device. According to leaks, the Galaxy S26 Pro will have a slightly larger 6.3-inch display, and the dimensions are reported to be 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96mm, or 10.23mm with the camera bump.

Performance is expected to see a boost with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 processor, though some regions may still receive an Exynos version. Rumors suggest the phone will come with up to 16GB of RAM and a 4,300mAh battery, which is an improvement over the Galaxy S25. Camera upgrades include a new 50MP ultrawide sensor, replacing the older 12MP version, which could make a big difference in photography.

The Galaxy S26 Pro is also expected to support Qi2 wireless charging with built-in magnets, though reverse wireless charging may not be included. The full Galaxy S26 lineup is rumored to launch in January next year.
