Fitbit has released a new software update 1.88.11 for Fitbit Charge 3 tracker that brings a couple of Charge 4 functions. It is the major rollout for Charge 3 since the last blood oxygen saturation update that happened in January this year. In the firmware, Fitbit Charge 3 users will get some of the necessary functions like Smart Wake, screen timeout, and Agenda app support. The newly launched Charge 4 was the first smart band to receive these features and now the company is dispatching to Charge 3.
In the Smart Wake, the user can set the alarm from the tracker itself. After this function, the need for the Fitbit app to set the alarm is no longer in need. To do that, go to the new Alarm app on Charge 3 and set up a new alarm. The turn off screen or screen timeout option will allow users to put the screen On for a longer time. The Agenda app on the band lets you set the new event in your calendar so you won’t miss them. For the easy use of the DND & Sleep mode, both functions have added in the quick settings.
In the version 1.88.11, Fitbit Charge 3 has also received some fresh watch faces. You can find out these new themes from the Fitbit Clock Gallery from the official app. The new firmware has also widened support for six new languages – Indonesian, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Romanian, Russian and Polish. Apart from that, the fixes come to some existing functions to enhance performance. The latest update is currently rolling out in the US and soon you will see it in other regions.
