To improve the quality of the new Versa 2 and to enhance its user experience Fitbit has released a new software version. The new firmware optimizes the algorithm used to track your heart rate on the new Fitbit smartwatch & squashed small bugs. After applying it, you may experience the improvement in the measurement of heart rate tracking. There wasn’t any issue before with this function though the company is doing its best to provides better HR monitoring results. The software also contains bug fixes and other improvements.
As we said, the new 4.1.1 version is only available for Fitbit Versa 2 smartwatch and as always, it will reach slowly to each customer. The last Fitbit 4.1.0 version which had released in December, brought many features with it. The all-new smart wake, always-on display, sleep score data on the watch and many small changes had arrived in the last version. It also had introduced a machine learning method to measure accurate heart rate on Versa 2.
The Fitbit recently activated blood oxygen saturation or SpO2 features on the five of its leading wearables. This feature enabled on Versa, Versa Lite, Versa 2, Ionic & Charge 3 wearables. Now followed by the blood oxygen measurement function, Fitbit has rolled this new update. It is the second update right after the acquisition of Fitbit by Google.
