One UI 2.5 is now reaching out to more mid-range smartphones in major regions. The latest One UI 2.5 is finally coming to Galaxy A70s smartphone in India. The big brother Galaxy A71 & the Galaxy A51 were the first devices in this range to taste the new version. The latest firmware for Galaxy A70s can be identified as an A707FDDU3BTH4 and 1.6GB in size. The bigger file size shows it contains lots of features to the device. Along with it, Galaxy Note 9 users in India are now upgrading their phones to the same version.
For the Galaxy Note 9, it is the last major update and the device will not enjoy any features of One UI 3.0 unless Samsung changes its mind. Same story with the Galaxy S9 & S9+, which are taking their last vital updates. The Galaxy A70s missed Pro mode’s shutter speed controls though it takes Single take function. The ability to request Wi-Fi password, updated Samsung keyboard, Bitmoji stickers, Always-on display, and SOS function for Messages have launched on Galaxy A70s.
The Galaxy Note 9 users in the US and major European countries have received the update. It is time for Indian users to upgrade their flagship phone. Both Note 9 & galaxy A70s users can update One UI 2.5 version from Settings > Software Update. With the version, Samsung includes Android’s October security patch. The launch of the 2.5 version on A70s hints Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A70 & Galaxy A50 smartphones may soon get this version.
