After a long time, Samsung has released a new firmware update for the Galaxy Fit 2 fitness tracker. The update has focused on two areas. First, it has brought fresh-looking watch faces, and the second it fixes notification issues. The firmware version R220XXU1AUC2 for the Galaxy Fit 2 is rolling out, and it weighs 2.97MB in size. The main aim of the new software is to fix the notification issues. Many users had complained about the notification popups and some missing notifications from the phone apps.
The previous version had come to improve many corners but hadn’t brought any new features. This one added new watch faces. The update still has to reach here in India, so we don’t have any information about those new watch faces. If you have received this version, then you can check for new watch faces from the Watch Face tab in the Galaxy Wearable app. Don’t look for custom watch faces. Samsung team has officially answered it and said due to limited memory, they can’t bring custom faces to the Galaxy Fit 2.
After the new update, users have also experienced optimization in motion recognition. Further, it has stabilized other minor issues and enhanced the overall quality. The latest version is distributing in South Korea. To install the latest version, open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then go to Band Software update.
