Once again, the pre-sales of Galaxy Fold has gone out of stock within a few minutes after it had started in South Korea. As per the SK Telecom, LG U+ & KT operator the pre-sale has sold out within the first 15 minutes after it began at 9:00 AM today. The first sales on September 6th had witnessed the same situation when the buyers are in the vast line, and there were only 1000 units available to buy. Now in the second phase, Samsung has provided up to 600-700 Galaxy Fold units to all major carriers in the country, makes it a total of 3,000. It looks like this is not enough to deliver all the customers that the numbers are higher than Samsung’s prediction.
Samsung Galaxy Fold is only available in the company’s home country. Today (Sept. 18) it will go on pre-orders in some European countries and Singapore. In the UK, EE will take pre-orders for the device but the catch is customers can not pre-order Galaxy Fold online. They have to visit Samsung store or authorized centers to book the Galaxy Fold. It will go the same for the US customers when the Fold will available in the states.
At the beginning of this month, Samsung has canceled all the existing pre-orders of all the customers. The reason behind this decision is Samsung wants to help customers about its first foldable phone so they could use it without any damage. For that Samsung has started Premium Service in the US to help Galaxy Fold customers when they need any assistance.
