Next month Samsung will announce Galaxy S22 series smartphones with forward-looking features. Many sources have revealed plenty of information about all the functions of the devices including their prices. As per the previous sources, the prices for the next smartphones will see an increment. As per the latest report, this year, Samsung will not increase the prices of the Galaxy S22 devices.
The report comes from the South Korean website HankYung, which claims Samsung will put the same price for the flagship models compared to Galaxy S21 series. It says the Galaxy S22 may be priced at 999,000 won or $842, the Galaxy S22 Plus could go for 1199,000 or $1010. And lastly, Galaxy S22 Ultra may available for 1452,000 won or $1222. According to the news, Samsung will apply a cost-effectiveness strategy against low-priced phones to grab more users.
However, the pressure to increase the price was more due to the hike in prices of raw materials and parts. Though the pressure to hike the prices is high, Samsung has decided to use a price freeze move. Further, the reports mention, the first priority of the company is to increase sales volumes, which is not satisfied in the last few years. Finally, it mentions the pre-order will start from February 08 & the sale will begin from February 25.
