Yesterday, the Samsung official person at Samsung Community has confirmed One UI 2.1 update for Galaxy Note 9. Now, in the exciting turn, another official guy at Samsung chat support in India confirmed One UI 2.1 version for Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ smartphones. In answer to the customer, he mentioned the new version for the devices. He doesn’t reveal any specific date for the launching, but as per the previous sources Samsung is still working on it to maintain the performance by releasing all the essential features of the One UI 2.1.
The same answer has come from the Galaxy S Manager at Samsung Community South Korea, but he said he has newly appointed to it, and he will reach out with the final answer. Now, the guy named Kapil at Samsung chat support has noded with ‘Yes’ to the version that means sooner or later users may get it. Another reference came from the Twitter account of a guy, Kapil Sharma. On April 11, he had already mentioned about the updates for Galaxy S9/S9+ & Note 9. The guy in the company’s response team and the Twitter handler has the same name, Kapil, but I think it is just coincidence.
As for the Galaxy Note 9, the company is testing the One UI 2.1, and it will release when there is a stable version. If this is true and the company is also working on the update of Galaxy S9/S9+, then it will take some time to roll out the update. It is good for the users that all these 2018’s flagship smartphones will promote to the latest One UI 2.1 version with some exclusive functions of Galaxy S20.
