Finally, after so much hype and the long waiting, Samsung has dispatched One UI 2.1 update for Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ smartphones. At many times it looks uncertain for the major firmware on the older devices. There was a possibility for the Galaxy Note 9, but very little chance for S9 series devices. Now, to end it all, Samsung has released this update with lots of goodies. The first confirmation from the user is Galaxy S9/S9+ gets Single Take & Pro mode functions. The community manager at Samsung’s forum at South Korea mentioned Pro Mode would not come to these models. Thanks to the developers, they introduced it for better camera performance.
The update brings Quick Share & Music Share functions to the devices. The Quick share allows two Galaxy devices to share files and other stuff faster than the other sharing apps. The Music share app lets you share an audio connection via Bluetooth with the others. Your friends can listen to the songs on your smartphone via Bluetooth headset. The AR Zone is also available on the device with updated AR Emojis to express your thoughts in a better way. The Single Take capture series of images & video clips for 10 seconds for the perfect result.
Apart from it, Samsung has added Samsung Keyboard, AR Doodle & My Filter functions. We all know it is the last major update for Galaxy S9 series smartphones. The Galaxy S9 & Galaxy Note 9 will not get the upcoming Android 11 version, so Samsung had pushed almost all the features of Galaxy S20. The firmware versions N96xFXXU9ETF5 & N96xNKSU3ETF4 are now rolling out in Germany & South Korea respectively that will soon expand in other countries. The newly released version also built with the June security patch.
