Now it has confirmed that the next Samsung smartwatch will be Galaxy Watch 3. The recent leak has already mentioned the watch will release along with Galaxy Buds Live at the end of July. Now the new source claims the watch will have two variants – 1.2-inch & 1.4-inch. The 41mm variant will have a 1.2-inch display, and the bigger 45mm will have a 1.4-inch screen. Also, the source claims the next Samsung watch will have a military standard design to save it from unwanted scratches. Galaxy Watch 3 to have MIL-STD 810G design, which is a more robust and/or rugged watch than the Galaxy Watch Active or Active 2.
If you don’t know, then it is a military-grade drop-test standard by the US department of defense to determine the durability of material system design. These days most of the smartwatches come with this standard design like Garmin Delta 2, Tag Heuer, Amazfit T-Rex & Amazfit Ares. It is good that now Samsung will bring back the technology on its watches. Also, the Galaxy Watch 3 will be IP68 water resistance up to 50 meters for 10 minutes. For the screen protection, Samsung will bring Corning’s Gorilla Glass DX. And the leaked FCC database has revealed both these models.
In the battery department, the smaller version to get a 247mAh battery and the bigger to get 340mAh battery. Now we know, in the health sensor, users will get ECG & Blood Pressure features as both have approved by related authorities. Apart from these functions, the Galaxy Watch 3 will come with a physical rotating bezel, titanium case, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, and runs on Tizen 5.5 version. As per the news, the Galaxy Watch 3 may unveil in the last week of July.
