Here is the news that may give you good vibes for the next Samsung smartwatch. According to the latest source, the next Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will last long for three days on a single charge. The news has spoken about the most discussed part of the Galaxy Watch. After switching Galaxy Watch from Tizen OS to Wear OS, it lost half of its battery life. The wear OS platform was never known for its good battery life, and that also affected on Galaxy Watch 4 series.
Now, Samsung has decided to deal with it with a major battery pack inside the Pro variant. The tipster Ice Universe claims that the smartwatch will get a bigger battery, and that will change the whole game in battery life.
The current Galaxy Watch 4 runs for a day on a single charge, even the Classic variant. Official figures claimed to produce 40 hours of battery life, but no single user achieved that figure. Now, three days of battery on a single charge might give them some relief.
These are not the official numbers or tested numbers, so we do not know the actual results. If Samsung claims to get 3 days of battery life, then in the real life, users may get at least two battery life in moderate use.
Google & Qualcomm are also working to tackle poor battery performance with new W5 Gen series processors. For Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro, it will announce on August 10 with Wear OS 3.5-powered One UI 4.5 version.
