Galaxy Watch Active 4 to have Slim Bezel & faster 5nm Chipset

It has officially confirmed Galaxy Watch Active 4 will come with Wear OS by Google, Not only next-gen smartwatch, but the whole line up now moved to the Android platform. As we are moving forward towards the launch date, more information is coming out. In the latest series of leaks, popular tipster IceUniverse has gathered more information about the upcoming watch. According to the leaker, Galaxy Watch Active 4 will get a slimmer bezel than the current Watch 3 model. It has still unknown whether it is a digital bezel or a physical rotating bezel.

Further, Samsung could bring its fastest 5NM chipset for the new smartwatch. If this comes true, then after Galaxy Watch 2018, it will first time Samsung will bring a new & faster chipset on its entire smartwatch line. In 2018, the company has packed 10nm-based Exynos 9110 SoC on the board. Samsung is testing a new 5nm-based processor, and we could see its charm on Active 4. The glass this time will be in 2D instead of 2.5D. The watch will be going under tremendous change, so that could affect display & design too.

On Twitter, IceUniverse claims the new operating system by Samsung & Google will be called TizenWear OS. The name is not officially confirmed, so we are not sure about it. The Galaxy Watch Active 4 comes in two sizes. The larger model will be 45mm & the smaller model will be 41mm in size. The blood glucose monitoring function is still in the rumor mill, as rumors are still in doubt about the feature’s existence. We could see the launch date between July or August along with Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z flip 3.
