Galaxy Watch Active 4 & Watch 4 to Get Wear OS, but misses Blood Glucose Function

The possible correction for the previous leak has come and it indicates some changes in the last tipsters. The source called Tron has posted new information on its Twitter account, where he has confirmed two features. These features are major to the watches, and possibly Samsung could introduce them. First, he has confirmed the watches Galaxy Watch Active 4 & Galaxy Watch 4 to come in July or August. Second, the source has confirmed Wear OS by Google on both watches. And third is, Blood Glucose measurement will not come to any smartwatch.

The leaker has posted model numbers and the screen sizes of the watches. The actual screen sizes mentioned in the post are quite different than the previous leak. The Galaxy Watch Active 4 will have model number SM-R865N for a smaller model which has a 39mm screen. The bigger Active 4 will have the number SM-R875N and has a 43mm screen for a bigger model. The Galaxy Watch 4 smaller version will have a 41mm screen and an assigned SM-R885N model number. The bigger model gets a 45mm screen with model number SM-R895N.

Also, according to the new tipster, Samsung will not bring blood glucose function on any of these smartwatches. Previously, it said that the company could bring another essential function on the wearables. It might have postponed for another device like Galaxy Watch 5 or Galaxy Watch Active 5. The big claim here is, neither of these Galaxy Watch Active 4 or Watch 4 will run on Tizen OS. Yes, the new report says Samsung will totally abandon its home-growth OS for Wear OS. It is still a rumor, so we have to wait for official confirmation.
