The latest leak reveals Garmin is adding two more Solar powered smartwatches in the Fenix & Instinct series. The leak has come from the French retailer website i-run.fr, where both smartwatches have listed on the product pages. As per the details on the site, Fenix 6 Solar & Instinct Solar are the two wearables that will soon land in the market. These leaked watches are the upgraded versions of Garmin Fenix 6 & Garmin Instinct, which the company had launched last year. This year, the company has shown us Quatix 6X Solar in the Solar technology lineup.
In the Fenix series company has already introduced Fenix 6X Solar in higher price range, so we could imagine a little less price for the Fenix 6 Solar & Instinct Solar. Along with solar technology to power up, your smartwatch, the company offers something more. On the French website, we have found the ClimbPro Climb Planner function, which is an advanced version of ClimbPro. The function allows you to use it on downloaded routes to see real-time information on the current & future climbs, including slope, distance, and elevation.
The Fenix 6 Solar will offer a multisport and connected GPS watch for your outdoor activities. The other Instinct Solar comes with robust design in military standard and also offers connected GPS for the activities. The prices haven’t revealed on the retailer website, but both could be expensive than the non-solar Fenix 6 & Instinct watches. After the leak, the website i-run.fr has taken down the product page & also the YouTube promo video, but thankfully we have captured a screenshot. Garmin could launch both solar-powered smartwatches in its upcoming event.
Update: After 4 hours later we wrote this article, Garmin has officially launched both smartwatches. You can purchase both wearables from official Garmin website. We will write another article on Fenix 6 Solar & Instinct Solar smartwatches shortly.
