Gear S3 Gets Revised Tizen 3.0 Firmware, Fixes Battery Issues

The revised Tizen 3.0 firmware update has been released on Samsung Gear S3. It will fix the major problems with battery performance and other software glitches. It is the updated version of previously released Tizen 3.0.0.1 firmware that was launched in the beginning of this month. Unfortunately, original update turned into series of serious bugs and hurt all over performance of Gear S3. The original firmware was R760XXU2CQK3 and now it revised with R760XXU2BQC5, thanks to Sammobile for the information. It is rolling out in Europe followed by other countries.

Two days ago, Samsung has launched same revised Tizen version in Canada to fix all the issues Gear S3 have & sounds like it worked well for many users. After the update many users have seen major improvements in the battery performance that runs last longer compared to previous version. With Tizen 3.0, Samsung was hoping nearly 40 hours of battery backup on the wearables but it had not gone well.

Now with new firmware battery performance might rise as expected. It also solved other minor issues such as Gear Manager app issues, Watch Faces, forcing to close apps, not working Gear App Store, Calendar, S Health and many other Samsung apps. These will be solved in new version. The update is rolled out in Europe and slowly it will release in other countries.

The users who have been downloaded previous version, they can upgrade it to latest one. If you are running on last Tizen version, then you must wait for some more days and get newest revised version. The Tizen 3.0 is firstly released on Samsung Gear Sport without having any issues or other minor problems. Hope, this new version comes lags & bugs free.
