We don’t know how many times we have heard about Google’s first Google Pixel Watch. We have also covered it many times in our post about its rumored features, and launch date. The first concept of Pixel Watch came ahead in 2016, and since then, we have heard about its news in big publications. Now, the new report suggests the first Google smartwatch may launch alongside Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel Fold & Pixel Tab. The company has scheduled its next big event on October 19, where it will unveil series of devices.
At this moment, only Pixel 6 & 6 Pro are confirmed products that going to unpack in the next event. All the other products including Pixel Watch are still in the rumor mill. According to the previous reports, Pixel Watch would come with the Wear OS platform, possibly the Wear OS 3 version. Further, some rumors in the past had predicted, the watch to come with an in-built camera.
The camera function on the smartwatch is a very rare thing to see on any current smartwatches. The watch is to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+ chipset, and essential health tools.
The Google Pixel Watch has yet to go through FCC & Bluetooth certification site. Though it hasn’t received any certification from related authorities, it could get it at the final moment. In current, Galaxy Watch 4, Fossil Gen 6 & TicWatch Pro 3 are the best Wear OS watches in the market.
If Pixel Watch comes to light, then it will make more impact on the Wear OS ecosystem alongside Fitbit Sense 2 and also give tough competition to the Apple Watches.
