According to the famous tipster Max Weinbach, Google has probably delayed its upcoming Google Pixel Watch to another date. As per the previous leak, the company is supposed to announce its first-gen Pixel Watch at the next Google event. The other products Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro, Pixel Tab & Nest Speaker will be announced on a fixed schedule. The only product that is postponed to an unknown date is Pixel Watch, and there might be genuine reason from Google to do it. The tipster says due to the shortage of chips to build it Google made this decision.
It is not the first time Pixel Watch came & go into the rumor world. We hear a lot about the Google smartwatch from a couple of industry tipsters, but none of them become true with the launch date or solid proof on speculations. This month, the tipster AppleLe257 claimed about the launching of the watch at the October 19 Google event. Now, another tipster says, it probably did not happen in the event but accepted its existence. The Max Weinbeach claims watch probably launch later this year or next year.
In April, we got our first leaked images of the Google Pixel Watch. The leaked images show a bezel-less design along with 2.5D curved glass. If Google launches its smartwatch soon, then the watch could run on Wear OS 2.0 or Wear OS 3.0 version. The chipset that becomes a nightmare for Google’s wearable is probably Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 or Wear 4100+. One thing for sure, next October 19, we will know if there is a new watch coming from Google, or it will again live in the rumor world.
