In the last two years, Honor has changed its strategy from fitness bands and mid-range smartwatches to more premium wearables. It is the first company to introduce a giant Honor Watch ES with a larger display than a regular activity tracker. Later, the trend come to other brands like Mi Band 6, Huawei Watch Fit, and Amazfit Band 6. This time by leaving a rugged display of GS 3 Pro, it has launched a new Watch GS 3 smartwatch with a more sleek design in a stainless steel case.
Instead of MagicWatch 2 lineup, the company is going with the Watch GS series in the premium segment. It comes with 1.43-inch AMOLED 3D curved display with 326 PPI pixel format. It follows an 8-channel PPG tracking sensor, to lift the bar and to provide 97% accuracy in health measurement. The watch offers sleep rate, SpO2, stress, menstrual cycle, 100 sports modes, and auto workout detection features. The fresh look of watch faces along with custom themes will give you more choices to change the mood.
With 451mAh battery power, it promises to run for 14 days in normal mode and 30 hours in GPS mode. It runs on LiteOS and comes with some pre-installed basic apps. To save the apps and watch faces, there is 4GB of memory on the board. The new Honor Watch GS 3 is now available to purchase in China for CNY 1300. If you pay CNY 1500, then you will get a leather strap.
