Huawei & Honor has changed the way we charge our fitness trackers. Last year, we had a habit of removing the capsule from the strap and put it into the charging port. All the fitness bands including Mi Band 4, Honor Band 4, Fitbit Charge 3 and Samsung Galaxy fit & fit e comes with a traditional charging point. Now, this year, Honor come up with a new solution to charge the band. Instead of removing the tracker from its strap, the company has made USB-A port right on the capsule. In this way, you don’t have to worry about the charger and to carry it everywhere.
The Honor Band 5i is the first wearable to get this feature. After that, the parent company Huawei has launched Huawei Band 4 & Huawei Band 4 Pro with the same charging technology. It is a new technique for the industry so many users don’t know how to charge it. Also, when you plug it, then you have to wait for a few seconds to power it. Charge Huawei Band 4 & Band 4 Pro
1. Take your band & turn it upside down
2. Now you will see USB on the capsule
3. On that side, you will see a button
4. Press the button and remove the longer strap
5. Now plug the band or capsule directly into the USB port
6. Make sure metal strips are touching to the 4 pieces metal of USB port
7. Wait for 10 seconds to power up the band
When you plug-in properly then within the 10 seconds the band will start to charge. If it is taking a long time then make sure you have plugged it properly. See the above manual image for correct instructions. Huawei Band 4 or Band 4 Pro offers more than 2 weeks of battery life. After two weeks, you don’t need to worry about finding the charger.
