Huami is set to launch its next Amazfit wearables – one is rectangular & another one is circular on 27th August. The upcoming rectangular smartwatch supposed to called as Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 3, looks like Apple Watch but comes with a better display than Apple. It is a square-shaped Amazfit wearable that incorporates a 341PPI display compared to Apple’s 326PPI display and takes the things to a new level. The watch will come with two editions – Standard & Lite. The next watch has appeared on the FCC website so we have confidence in its debut on the 27th of this month.
More About Upcoming Rectangular watch
Huami is looking ahead to take on Apple and recently it announced that the display of upcoming watches would be a custom panel with AMOLED screen. A custom panel display is uncommon for smartwatches and Humai is enthusiastic about introducing it in wearables.
A beta user leaked the device in China on social media and it is yet to be named. However, it shares various similarities with Apple Watch, including a similar look and an identical color scheme. All these similarities confused users to predict that it is an upcoming Apple Watch, but the VP of the Huami announced that it’s a forthcoming Amazfit wearable. Along with the higher resolution screen, it also features an incredible 14-day battery life for the uninterrupted uses.
According to the company it worked with screen maker JDI to build the display for Huami’s rectangular Amazfit smartwatch. From the leaked images and design we can guess that the smartwatch will be from Amazfit BIP lineup.
At the moment we have only images of the device and no idea about which features have packed with it. Huami posted a theme for the event, “Run, Amazfit! Run!.” which is inspired by the movie Forrest Gump.
More about another Circular smartwatch
On the launch event of 27th August, Huami will launch another Amazfit smartwatch. It will feature a 1.34 inches fully circular transflective display with a custom panel, making it the second Huami wearable to introduce with the custom panel this month. We don’t have too much information about the wearable so we must wait until the company unveils it in its next August 27 event.
Huami’s next wearables are available for reservation on the Chinese e-commerce website Taobao. However, we should hopefully wait until 27th August, to get the other details about the product.
