Xiaomi’s partner Huami is popular for its Amazfit smartwatch lineup. Recent leaks occurred from the FCC filing reveals that the Huami is preparing to launch a new watch. However, the upcoming wearable would release under the Zepp branding, as the documentation refers. In 2018 Huami acquired the Zepp to expand its premium sports products market. Obviously, the upcoming smartwatch may equip with some features which may differentiate it from the Amazfit lineup.
The Zepp has a reputation for tech designs for sports including golf, tennis, baseball, and badminton, etc. Further, the company manufactured devices like smart tennis bats and golf tech. However, it is interesting to see that whether the device probably called Amazfit Zepp E or just Zepp E. As for the coming smartwatch Huami is planning to introduce innovative features and perfect sports orientation.
The documentation (Via Gadgets & Wearables) has no reference with Amazfit and therefore Huami’s next smartwatch is being speculated to launch under Zepp branding. The watch expected to come with sporty design along with the circular design. The wearable has equipped with an AMOLED screen and physical button on the right side to switch on and off the watch. Further, the wearable has 5 ATM water resistance and fuelled with 188mAh Li-Ion battery.
Probably the Zepp E will come with Amazfit’s next-generation Huangshan 2 processor. The processor has upgraded Bio Tracker 2, new optical sensors, and improves consumption along with advanced technology. It has expected to equip with multiple sensors useful for sports activities, which includes oxygen saturation meter etc. Further, Zepp E is being speculated to have dedicated sports modes like golf and others. We should wait further for more details and the price range of the upcoming wearable.
