Huawei Watch GT 2 launched in September in most of the countries with fitness-related functions. Though the SpO2 or blood oxygen level feature released with GT 2, it was only limited to China for a long time. Now, in the latest update, Huawei is releasing SpO2 function for a global version of Watch GT 2. It took more than seven months for the Huawei to release the update when the company has already launched Watch GT 2e smartwatch in the market.
All the customers bought the smartwatch for the top-notch features and, of course, SpO2. When they received the watch, then found out the function is missing on it. Since the beginning, users outside China have been complaining about the feature. The only answer from the customer executive came that the blood oxygen monitoring would come in near feature. SpO2 is essential to track the blood oxygen saturation in your body, and also it detects sleep apnea.
The new software version for Huawei Watch GT 2 is now rolling out in Bulgaria, and soon you will notice it in your country in the coming weeks. To get the latest version first, you have to upgrade the Huawei Health app to the new version. The Honor Band 5i, Huawei Band 4 Pro & Fitbit Versa 2 already have SpO2 function & now Watch GT 2 users can use it.
