In the new update, Huawei has released SpO2 or, in a simple word, blood oxygen saturation for Band 4. The fitness band launched last year, but the function was missing in the pre-installed features. Now, several months later, it supports Huawei Band 4. The new firmware version 126.96.36.199 is releasing in major countries that weigh 5.46 MB in size. The ability to check blood oxygen level is available on Honor Band 5 & Band 5i, which shares similarities in the features. Though, Huawei took too much time to release it for the end-users.
Apart from that, the company has dispatched a new version with some other optimizations to enhance its quality. It fixes the issue with workout data to provide better results in both outdoor and indoor activities. The Alarm function has also improved to wake you up on the time though we haven’t seen any issues here before. It has also fixed display issues and enhanced user experience.
It is the year for a fitness tracker with SpO2, swim tracking, NFC & USB-A plug & charge features. Huawei Band 4 has all these features, and now SpO2 also made its way in all major countries. To check for updates, open the Huawei Health app on the paired smartphone and then tap on Device Name & after that, Firmware Update. If the Huawei Health app is not working, then update the app from Huawei’s App Gallery.
