Huawei Files Mate Watch Trademark Could be Next Watch Lineup

Huawei has recently applied to a ‘Mate Watch’ as a trademark. It could be signed to the next smartwatch lineup from the company. The Mate series is not new to the Huawei users. The Chinese vendor has launched many smartphones, computers, and tablets under the Mate series. It is the initial guess that the Chinese company may launch a refreshing lineup in the wearable. Currently, Huawei has Watch GT, Watch GT 2, and the recent Watch GT 2e in the market. Also, don’t forget the older Huawei Watch & Watch 2 with Wear OS platform.

The Chinese tech giant has filed a trademark on May 6 with the name ‘Huawei Mate Watch’ that hints new moniker. At the beginning of this year, it has also revealed the name MatePod. It listed for the new Bluetooth headphones lineup that we see in the future. Huawei is going to launch Mate 40 smartphones in August or in early September. In the same event, along with Mate 40, we possibly see the first Mate Watch smartwatch.

If this is the truth and the next Huawei watch is coming, then we want to see some essential features. The ECG must be the first choice of user with the other Breathing, Sleep tracking, SpO2, and Camera Controller functions. There is a time between the launch date so that we could hear more about the new name moniker.
