Huawei has revealed a new teaser video that explains to us what its upcoming Watch GT 2. It is a 10-second video focused on some features like the waterproof technology for swimming, the fitness features for runners, swimmers, for indoor fitness activities like Gym, and the new design. Recently, few leaked images have explained its design, some watch faces, and the circular display. The company has some exclusive watch faces for new Watch GT 2 that will change the colors, and some will do more tweaks on a smartwatch.
Till to date, the patent and the leaked images are the only sources that have got us here. The smartwatch could be the first wearable from the Huawei that probably runs on Harmony OS, the new OS from the company for its all the devices, from wearables to smartphones and other gadgets. This leaked video on Twitter doesn’t tell us more about the watch, but we know it has the power of Kirin A1 chip, which supposes to run much faster than any other wearable chip on the Company’s previous smartwatches.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 will be available for end-users in the last quarter, which will not easy for the company to sell in the tight market. The other competitors have already launched their premium smartwatches in the market. Samsung has come up with Galaxy Watch Active 2, and Apple has launched Watch Series 5, Fitbit & Huami has Versa 2 & Amazfit Stratos 3 respectively in the same smartwatch segment.
In the Android Wear platform, Garmin & Fossil have introduced their new lineup in the IFA event, and the release date is somewhere in October. The Huawei Watch GT 2 has scheduled to announce on September 19th in Munich where Huawei will unpack all the features.
