Huawei has taken a further step to take care of your heart too. According to sources, Huawei will soon launch a Watch GT 2 Pro with ECG feature. For now, it will land in China in December 2020 at the price of 2,688 CNY. Electrocardiogram (ECG) also known as EKG is used to measure the heart rate, it will allow the user to monitor heart rate by using the sensor that can spot low heart rate, arrhythmia, and atrial fibrillation at any time. You can measure and record your heart and prevent illness such as stroke, a heart attack caused by heart abnormalities.
According to a report, Huawei’s watch is the first smart wearable product that has obtained a Class II medical device registration certificate. It received certificate from the National Medical Products Administration, with home-level ECG acquisition accuracy.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG will be giving tough competition to other watches that are already in the market providing ECG watches. In the other rivals Apple’s watches, Galaxy Watch 3, Watch Active 2, Withings to name a few, which come with this function.
Though we can unsure if they will plan a wider market for the smartwatch but it is likely to be priced a bit higher than the GT 2 Pro Watch without the ECG sensor. Huami too has Amazfit Health Watch for the market in China that also has a BioTracker PPG heart rate sensor to monitor the heart rate, but lacks in ECG feature.
