Samsung and Fitbit are innovative companies to offer plenty of health features to their users. One such function is Blood Pressure, which allows users to see their health with the wearable on the wrist. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 & Galaxy Watch 3 from Samsung and Fitbit Sense from Fitbit has BP function. Now soon, we can use this function on the Huawei smartwatch. As per the post on Huawei’s official Weibo account, the company will launch it on the next flagship smartwatch. The measurement function will debut in H2, 2021.
To launch the BP function, Huawei has passed medical certification in China, and now it is in the testing phase across the country. In the feature, Huawei will add Hypertension management and coronary screening along with smart body temperature. The ECG function inside the watch will take the help of PPG & ACC to detect early signs of heart disease. In the early leaks and certification sites, it will be named as Huawei Watch 3. It will be the first smartwatch to run on HarmonyOS, and it will serve plenty of new functions.
The rumors claim the smartwatch will get eSIM support. With the eSIM support, users can roam outside or go on a walk by putting their smartphones at home. Users can also make and receive calls from the watch. Huawei Watch 3 would come with two models, Watch 3 & Watch 3 Pro in two sizes. The essential functions like ECG, SpO2, GPS, continuous heart rate & sleep tracking will be part of the next wearable.
