In India the new Samsung Z2 smartphone has now got new software update to bring some new features to it. The new Tizen update version is 22.214.171.124 (Z200FDDU0BPK3) firmware. This is the second update from Samsung for new generation Tizen smartphone. In the month of October they had released their first software update for this device. In that update they had rolled out supported Jio apps and some other useful features. It is the first 4G Tizen smartphone so there were many changes in the last version. This version is not much but the improvements in its own, this time not much changes to use.
The main added feature inside new Tizen 126.96.36.199 update version is improved Send SOS messages (Panic mode) feature. The other changes are additional bug fixes and some improvements here and there to improve device performance.
The update is not large in size, it is just 44.5 MB in size. The customers who want to download and install this update then they can get it from Settings on Samsung Z2. If you don’t know how to download new firmware then, first go to Settings on your Samsung Z2 and then tap on About Device option.
Later tap on Check for updates option, then it will show you available software firmware for your device. You can also get this software version from your computer by using Samsung Kies software. To download it from computer open Samsung Kies and get the latest firmware by using OTA.
The new Tizen update is only available in India for Samsung Z2. The other countries may get it soon in coming weeks or next month. It is also only available for Z2 device not other Tizen devices. Indian customers can now install Tizen 188.8.131.52 firmware update on their smartphones. Note that to install this update you have to put some free space on your device, if you don’t have free space then first do it.
