Xiaomi has finally released the Mi Wear app for iPhone & iPad users. The users of Mi Watch, Mi Watch Color, and other Xiaomi wearables can use the official app. Right now, it supports Mi Watch Color smartwatch but soon, it will open to all Mi wearables. Last month, when the company launched the first update for Mi Watch, then the changelog also mentioned getting iPhone support. Now, as the company promised, the Xiaomi Wear app is available to download from the iOS App Store. In the future, we can also see Mi Band series to get support from the app.
Previously, Xiaomi was dependant on Huami to use the companion apps like Amazfit app and later its Mi Fit app. Before the announcement of Mi Watch, the company declared to launch the Xiaomi Wear app as a companion app to its all wearables, including smartwatches, fitness bands, and earbuds. After the launch of Mi Watch the official app released in the Android Play Store for all Xiaomi & non-Xiaomi smartphones.
Xiaomi said users get all sports mode and sleep tracking data on the app. Same as Mi Fit, you can see all the exercise data graphically and statistically. To download the app, you can go to the iOS App Store on the supported iPhone & iPad models. It is now available in China and soon, it will land in other countries when Mi Watch & Watch Color debut in the global market. It is still unclear when both new smartwatches launch in other regions.
