Xiaomi has a good reputation in the wearable market. In the last couple of years, it has dominated in the wearable market in both the fitness tracker & smartwatch. The new Mi Band 4 is the most selling fitness band of the year so it was Mi Band 3 last year. With the co-operation with Huami, the company has launched many smartwatches. The only company that was left here is Redmi, unlike the parent company never entered into the wearable market. Not anymore, now the new leak suggests Redmi is preparing to launch a new smartwatch & fitness band in the current year.
According to the new leak posted on Chinese social media site Weibo, the upcoming fitness tracker will be a cheaper version of Mi Band 5. The tipster Digital Chat Station has published a new possible image of Redmi’s first tracker that comes with a silicone band. On the image, it looks like the cheap version of Mi Band 5 or Band 4 that possibly launch with compromised features. Xiaomi has launched low priced Mi Band 3i in India so we have to wait for a while to see what Redmi’s tracker brings to us.

The other news comes from India, suggests the next Redmi smartwatch has appeared on the BIS approval site. It mentions the model number HMSH01GE in a smartwatch category with the company name. Recently, Xiaomi introduced Mi Watch & Mi Watch Color for all kinds of users and now the Redmi is ready to launch on its own. At this time we don’t have any other information about these wearables. As time passes, we would get more data to share.
