The new report from The Telegraph website claims that Apple will introduce three massive features on the Apple Watch Series 8. Yes, we are talking about the 8th generation Apple Watch, instead of Apple Watch Series 7. According to the report, Series 8 will bring Blood Glucose, Blood Alcohol & Blood Pressure functions on the smartwatch. Blood Glucose & Alcohol are the new features that we want to see, but BP function is already available on many smartwatches out there.
Apple is late in this game, and its biggest rivals like Samsung & Fitbit have blood pressure on the Galaxy Watch 3, Active 2 & Fitbit Sense. The Watch Series 8 to launch in the second half of 2020, which means one more year to see these features. The Telegraph has found solid evidence about these health tools. It has been found in the SEC or the US Security and Exchange Commission pages. Further, it reveals the Rockley Photonics is the main supplier of Apple to provide health-tracking sensors.
Apple could have launched these functions on Apple Watch Series 7. Previously, Apple has delayed many essential tools on the Apple Watches, even though their watches are costlier than the rivals. The main features blood oxygen saturation and sleep tracking features came on Apple Watch Series 6. It would be better if Apple launches these features on budget-friendly Apple Watch SE. We need to wait one more year to see these functions on the smartwatch.
